Stamp of Infertility
This is a postal stamp that Portugal released this year in March.
I can’t read their writing and the only things I could deduce from the CTT website was that it was a stamp of infertility (Selo Infertilidade) and that it costs 30 euros.
I assume that the stamp was one way to raise awareness to infertility in that Portugal.
I think it is beautiful in a poignant way. The stamp features a man and woman face to face. At their womb level is an outline of an imaginary child. I look at this and it shouts “empty womb” to me. Sigh…

Just a correction, the stamp costs only 30 cents. Glad to see it on your blog. Many thanks from the Portguese Infertility Association. It’s nice to see it’s going around. And thanks for comment on my blog
