CD7: Follistim Day 3 Response (Cycle #2)

The effect of the lower Follistim dosage on my left ovary is shown in the ultrasound image below: (It was Cindy the sonologist who did the ultrasound.)

Other stats are as follows:
Endometrial Lining = 7.1
Right Ovary = 10: 7, 6/3, 5/5, 4
Left Ovary = 9: 8, 7, 6/4, 5, 4/2
Estradiol = 91

I summarized my Follistim response from the first cycle and am currently comparing it to my second cycle response. Compared to the previous cycle, it seems that the follicles are smaller and the E2 is definitely lower. There are more follicles though compared to the first cycle (or the small ones could have been “ignored” in the 1st cycle since they are “small. OR…another theory is that…it was Dr Silverberg in shorts (ready for the weekend) who did that ultrasound on a Saturday morning, so he might not be as detail-oriented as the ladies. Maybe…)

Meanwhile, my next orders are 75, 75, 75 IU Follistim for the next 3 days and then I am back there on Thursday 7/17 again for a response monitor.

A couple of quick notes:

• I’m having some dull head ache discomfort. Nothing that immobilizes me like my migraines but it still is uncomfortable.
• My legs feel a bit weak. Not sure if it is the Follistim/hormones or is it just plain old age.
